Full Motion Video, enhanced sound, quadruple the RAM of the Genesis, and the ability to play CDs was the Sega CD's main selling point. Sonic CD and Lunar proved that the system was quite capable. Hearing video game voiceovers was an incredible feeling for the time, but not strong enough to sway gamers' wallets.
